Grant Opportunity for Broad Institute and Affiliated Researchers!

Deadline for submissions extended to May 22, 2026

The Quantum-Si Pioneer Grant Program provides free next-gen protein sequencing (NGPS) to support high-impact projects that require detailed protein characterization and analysis.

NGPS on the Platinum® Pro from Quantum-Si is a novel benchtop technology that allows direct characterization and identification of proteins with single-molecule, single-amino-acid resolution.

Applications include:

Pioneer Pub Award - Platinum® Pro
  • Protein analysis and identification (e.g., from unknown bands on a protein gel)
  • Detection of post-translational modifications (PTMs)
  • Protein-protein interaction studies
  • Protein barcoding to track and quantify protein variants
  • Validation of results from orthogonal proteomics technologies (e.g., mass spectrometry, western blot)

Each grant winner will receive library preparation and sequencing reagents to analyze eight samples free of charge on the Platinum Pro® located at the Broad Institute. Submit your proposal by May 22, 2026, and winners will be announced in late May or early June!

Fill out the form below to enter your project for consideration.

Application Format

The application must include a summary of the research project addressing the overall goal, significance, and research plan. Research plan should include an overview of the research project and a description of how NGPS data will contribute to project goals (500 words maximum).
